worked with a deep rounded body supported
on three cabriole legs issuing from leonine
animal masks, flanked by a pair of dragon head
handles suspending loose rings, the fitted cover
surmounted by a finial rendered in openwork
as two lions, the larger portrayed in a dynamic
stance with one paw on a beribboned ball, the
smaller beast depicted clambering on its rear,
the stone of a translucent variegated apple-green
colour, wood stand
