Architect and artist, Raymond Fung depicts the
natural beauty of landscape of Hong Kong devoid of
buildings. In his practice as a contemporary ink artist,
landscape is construed with abstract expressions
and contrasting colours. Fung’s lyrical and bold
brushwork goes beyond the limitation of the ink on
paper medium, accentuating the picturesque hills
and islands of Hong Kong – what in the artist’s mind
is ethereal, between heaven and earth.
