AN exPORT IVORy cASkeT Carved as a standing female figure in decorative robes holding a
19th century parrot in one hand, lotus issuing from rockwork at her feet.
The hinged cover deeply carved with peony, orchid and narcissus 26cm high
flowers with blank central oval, opening to reveal silk lined tray, the
box sides carved with figures at work and leisure in a palace garden £700 - 900
spaced by carved corner columns carved as bamboo.

writhing dragon, 7cm x 5cm, together with a small Japanese okimono
of sennin and attendant.
