Late Qing Dynasty/Republic Period
The rectangular top with ‘floating’ panel above a plain waist with
lozenge-shaped motifs in relief, the long side aprons carved and
pierced with a pair of confronting dragons flanking the flaming pearl
amidst clouds, a further single dragon to each short side, all raised on
squat cabriole supports ending in ‘cloud’ carved feet.

Qing Dynasty
The rectangular top with ‘floating’ panel over a waist carved and
pierced with scrolling lotus design, the apron carved and pierced with
archaistic dragons flanking a central bat leading to similarly carved
side corbels of scroll design, the square-form supports to the front
ending in feet carved as Buddhist lions.

The rectangular tray top above sides carved in relief with lozenge
shaped motifs, one short side fitted with two ‘hidden’ drawers
provided with an internal lever mechanism allowing one drawer to be
opened by pushing inwards on the other.

The top with inset ‘floating’ panel within wide framing timbers over
a concave waist and plain ‘fish-belly’ apron with a moulded edge
