           handles, the body divided by four vertical flanges into panels of
           archaistic design, the flaring base section with further key-pattern
           border.

           The Buddha is seated in dhyanasana on a plain base, with the left
           hand in dhyanamudra holding a bowl, the other hand touching earth,
           sealed base.

           The bombé body with twin dragon handles, inlaid in silver wire with
           stylized taotie masks, a Shisou mark is inlaid in silver wire on the base.

           Ming Dynasty
           Cast with a serene face and downcast eyes in deep contemplation,
           the head flanked by pendulous earlobes beneath his hair in tight curls,
           seated cross-legged in dhyanasana atop a lotus base, the hands
           resting in a dhyanamudra, wearing a pleated robe with incised floral
           hem open to reveal the bare chest.
