                                                     collection, inspired by guan prototypes and probably made for
           A SUPERB LONGQUAN CELADON VASE            the Court, illustrated in Bo Gyllensvard, Chinese Ceramics in
           SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY
                                                     the Carl Kempe Collection, Stockholm, 1964, pls 97, 71 and 184,
                                                     was sold in our London rooms, 5th November 2008, lot 544.
           delicately potted with a pear-shaped body rising from a short
           splayed foot to a waisted neck and elegantly sweeping up to
           an upturned everted rim, covered overall in a soft blue-tinged
           celadon glaze stopping neatly at the foot
           13.6 cm, 5⅜ in.
