A BRONZE ‘PHOENIX’ MIRROR 高錫含量令鏡體剛鑄成時呈銀白色，方便清晰
TANG DYNASTY 反射影像。在保存極好的情況下就會呈現其本
來的銀白色。鏡沿為八瓣菱花形，每一菱花瓣

The present mirror, well-preserved and of
high tin content, shows a silvery white surface
that creates a clear reflection. This example,
of octafoil petal-lobed form, is decorated in
alternating patterns of flowers and birds. The
circular central region of the mirror features a
pair of phoenix facing each other, amongst dense
lotus blossoms and stems.
