Vases of this form were also made in a variety of
a slightly flared foot, surmounted with a long
colours; see a pair of opaque turquoise vases sold
cylindrical neck and a flat rim, the opaque glass of
an even rose-pink tone in these rooms, 17th November 1988, lot 280;
26.1 cm, 10¼ in. and another of translucent amber-red colour,
included in the exhibition Clear as Crystal. Red
