清十八世紀 復興帕拉風格 銅鎏金無量壽佛坐像
Due to the popularity of Pala period (8th-12th century) sculptures
during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), a body of bronzes was
produced in China emulating the Pala style. Typical of the Pala Revival
style is the lotus base with beaded upper rim, thick and smooth inner
petals, and multi-tiered lower portion. Compare the figure, especially
his upper torso and the voluminous shawl, to a bronze Amitayus in
the Palace Museum, Beijing (Zangchuan fojiao zaoxiang-Gugong
bowuyuan cang wenwu zhenpin quanji, Hong Kong, 2008, p. 173, no.
123), as well as another example illustrated in Indo-Tibetan Bronzes,
Hong Kong, 1981, p. 439, no. 117F.
