A BRONZE FIGURE OF SEATED BODHISATTVA
Ming Dynasty
Cast with a serene expression under a cowl-covered high chignon and
clad in thickly-folded robed covering the hands, the deity seated in
padmasana with both hands in their lap, the bronze patinated to a rich,
dark brown-black tone and with traces of the original gilt lacquer.
