GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
Signed Zhou Leyuan, cyclically dated to
Renchen year, corresponding to AD 1892,
and of the period
Of flattened ovoid form supported on a
recessed foot raising to a short neck, painted
to each side with a Mandarin duck variously
swimming or flying amidst foliate lotus leaves
issuing blossoming lotus flowers and pods, all
reserved on a silver ground, stopper. 6.5cm (2
3/8in) high (2).

Attributed to Ye Zhongsan, cyclically dated
Dingsi year corresponding to 1917
One side with a gentleman on horseback
and boy attendant carrying a wrapped qin, in
a mountainous landscape, the reverse with
grasshoppers amongst flowers and plants,
bearing the signature of Ye Zhongsan, jadeite
stopper. The bottle 5.7cm (2.1/4in). (2).

of a peach surrounded by peach sprigs and
a hovering bat with wings outstretched, the
stone of a bright apple green tone with dark
inclusions on a mottled green and white
