                                                                             terraced garden with a variety of floral sprays
                                                                             including bamboo, chrysanthemum and
                                                                             peony, with sparrows swooping overhead.

                                                                             Boldly decorated in gilt and enamels with a
                                                                             panel of Kannon, warriors and attendants
                                                                             above waves, the reverse with a panel of a
                                                                             dignitary flanked by female musicians and
                                                                             attendants in a flowering garden, all on a
                                                                             cobalt-blue ground reserved in gilt with
                                                                             phoenix amongst densely scrolling foliage,
                                                                             signed in gilt Kinkozan zo.
