The narrow vase finely decorated in red, green
and gold enamels with short-tailed birds in
flight amongst a leafy spray, with a foliate
border at the mouth and a keyfret band at the
flaring foot.

Each dish finely enamelled in yellow, red,
white, green, aubergine and gilt with a
terraced garden with a variety of floral sprays
including bamboo, chrysanthemum and
peony, with sparrows swooping overhead.

Signed Kinkozan, Meiji Period
Boldly decorated in gilt and enamels with a
panel of Kannon, warriors and attendants
above waves, the reverse with a panel of a
dignitary flanked by female musicians and
attendants in a flowering garden, all on a
cobalt-blue ground reserved in gilt with
phoenix amongst densely scrolling foliage,
signed in gilt Kinkozan zo.
