18th/19th century
Modelled as an open flowerhead with bands
of overlapping petals, flanked by twin lotus
flower handles, issuing from leafy stems, the
base in the form of a lotus pod, the stone with
characteristic dark flecking.
21cm (8.1/4in) wide across the handles.

Qing Dynasty
Carved with stylised flowerheads within
borders of overlapping petals and pendant
leafy stems, the stand set on four waisted
feet, and carved with further leafy and foliate
scroll; and a pale green jade Mughal-style
washer, in the form of a bird.
The kettle 11cm (4.3/8in) high with the stand.
