           covers with shou roundels, all covered in a soft pale blue glaze, wood

           The lid likely to be from a ritual stem bowl, dou, finely carved in low
           relief with archaistic motifs and dragons, with key fret bands, the rim
           bound with copper. 19.8cm (7 3/4in) wide

           The baluster body with applied bat-shaped handles at the shoulder,
           decorated on either side with a slip-trailed design of a magpie perched
           atop a brush of nandina berries issuing from a lotus pond beside a
           large lingzhi. 35.5cm (14 in) high.
