Hamon [tempering pattern]: gunome-choji-midare
continuing into the boshi which has kaeri
Nakago [tang]: ubu with kuri-jiri and 2 mekugi-ana
Habaki [collar]: silver single clad
Nagasa [length from kissaki to machi]: 48 cm., 18 3/4 in.
the fine koshirae, of black lacquer with a ribbed design,
decorated in gold hiramaki-e with scrolliung foliage,
elegant silver mounts including kogai
