         A SMALL WHITE JADE CARVING OF A RECUMBENT DOG
         QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
         The stone is finely carved in the form of a recumbent dog with a long slender body, its
         spine detailed with ridges. The underside is incised with two characters qing wan, ‘pure
         pleasure’. The material is of an even white tone with a few subtle russet inclusions.
