A GROUP OF SMALL JADE ORNAMENTS
Including a pair of white jade earrings reticulated in three sections
with a shou character, supporting a flower basket loop that holds
the loose circular ring; the third a white jade pendant of irregular
rectangular profile, carved in high relief with delicately incised details
as a cicada resting on a curled leaf, its stem undercut to form a
suspension loop; two mottled green and white jadeite pendants
mounted on necklaces, the larger of elongated oval form displaying
a phoenix amid flowers finished on one side, the smaller of circular
form finished on both side as a dragon facing a fu-lion; the sixth a
very thinly sectioned mottled green jadeite oval plaque reticulated
and incised on one side as the He He Twins; and three reticulated
green jadeite plaques mounted as brooches, the largest showing
a lotus plant in a gold mount, the second of elongated oval form of
a bamboo branch in a gold mount, the smallest of oval shape of a
chrysanthemum flower in a brooch stamped Sterling. [9]
