A GROUP OF FOUR GREEN GLAZED POTTERY VESSELS TWO JIZHOU TEA BOWLS
Han dynasty 12th/13th century
The first a small baluster jar with cupped rim covered with a well- The first fired with three cut-paper cartouches forming a black
preserved leaf green glaze (chipped); the second a three-section reserve pattern on the densely mottled ground of the interior well
bowl with loop handle (repaired), the third a deep conical bowl with while the exterior walls display and a more diffuse tortoise shell glaze
flat rim (chipped); and the fourth a model for a brazier with globular of amber and brown (repaired, repainted); the larger potted with
walls above a fire box (repaired and retouched), the latter models an indented band below the rim on the exterior wall a tortoise shell
showing degraded glaze layers. glaze of amber patches on the dark chocolate ground covering most
5in (12.7cm) height of baluster jar surfaces (chips, glaze degraded).

Including a green glazed cover with a finial in the shape of a dog Including three Longquan wares with degraded glazes: the first
head, covered in a heavily degraded green glaze; the second a Yue a brush washer with flared rim and canted walls raised on a tall
type green glazed stoneware jarlet of turtle shape and compressed wedged foot (hairline crack, chips); the second a shallow bowl
globular form; the third an amber and green glazed model of a boar; with flared rim above lotus petal shaped ribs molded to the exterior
the fourth a straw glazed wine tray with five attached wine cups; the walls; the third a vase with cupped rim, cylindrical neck and globular
last a white slip decorated bottle of compressed baluster form with body encircled by raised ribs (rim repaired and repainted); the last a
raised ribs, the creamy white slip layer and colorless glaze showing spotted qingbai glazed vase of elongated pear form with a square
russet staining from burial (chips, many with degraded glaze layers). cut rim, the iron brown spots applied against the thinly applied glaze
6in (15cm) diameter of wine tray (extensively degraded, glaze frits).

The first a burnished baluster jar and associated cover supported on Liao/Jin dynasty
an everted lip and incised decoration on the tall shoulder highlighted The first a Liao bottle with a conical mouth, waisted neck and
