A JIZHOU WARE TEA BOWL
Southern Song dynasty
Of slightly compressed triangular profile raised atop a nearly flat
unglazed foot, the exterior sides of dark chocolate hue flecked in
lighter cream colored ‘tortoise shell’ mottling; the interior cavetto
adorned in three papercut decorations surrounded by a variegated
buff ground (restored).
