A GREEN AND YELLOW-GLAZED 'DRAGON' DISH
QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN
UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The interior is decorated in the center with a writhing, front-
faced five-clawed dragon leaping toward a flaming pearl,
encircled by two further dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls
amidst flower sprigs in the well. The exterior is similarly
decorated, and the scalloped mouth rim is outlined in black.

A GE-TYPE CONG-FORM VASE
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The vase is molded in the shape of a cong and covered overall
with a pale greyish-white glaze suffused with a network
of golden and black crackles. The base has a later-added
inscription praising Ge ware, followed by a Qianlong cyclical
date corresponding to 1775.
