The rectangular, variegated marble panel
The cylindrical brush pot has plain sides and is suggestive of a mountain range is set within a
raised on a round base. hardwood frame with beaded edges, which slides
6 in. (15.2 cm.) high into a base raised on shoe feet flanked by scrolling
foliate spandrels above the shaped apron.

STOOLS
17TH CENTURY
Each stool has a hard mat seat set within a
rectangular frame, above a narrow waist and
plain apron. The whole is raised on square-
section legs terminating in hoof feet and joined
by humpback stretchers.
