comprising an agate silhouette bottle; an inside-painted glass
‘bird and peony’ bottle; an inside-painted ‘horses’ bottle,
signed Tang Zichuan and dated renyin year (1902); and two
cinnabar lacquer bottles

finely carved in the form of a spotted deer beneath a gnarled
pine tree bearing clusters of needles, standing beside a
monkey seated on jagged rocks, the well-patinated amber of
a deep reddish-orange colour, the green-stained ivory stand
carved with leafy prunus and pine
5.8 cm, 2¼ in.
