A PAIR OF WHITE JADE BELT FITTINGS
18TH CENTURY

The ruyi-head-shaped upper section of each is carved on the front with peach,
fnger citron and pomegranate, forming the sanduo (Three Abundances), the
sides have slits to ft onto a belt, and the back is open to accommodate the
hinged lower section, which is carved in openwork as two confronted dragons.
The semi-translucent stone is of even white tone.
