A WUCAI AND DOUCAI ‘DRAGON’ DISH

YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN
A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
The dish is decorated in the center with a green-enameled fve-clawed dragon
reaching for a faming pearl, below fve striding fve-clawed dragons in pursuit of
pearls in underglaze blue below the gilt rim. The exterior is decorated with four
phoenix in fight amid cloud scrolls.
