A RUSSET JADE 'ARCHAISTIC' BI DISC
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The circular disc is intricately carved to each side with two large taotie masks
separated by a feld of raised comma designs. The details of the masks are
fnely executed in relief. The stone is of a rich mottled russet-brown tone.
