A CELADON JADE ‘DRAGON’
PENDANT, HUANG
EARLY TO MID-WESTERN ZHOU DYNASTY,
CIRCA 11TH-MID-9TH CENTURY BC
The pendant is carved on either side with a dragon in profile,
abstractly depicted with an elephant’s trunk and a hawk’s body.
