TWO ENAMELED PORCELAIN SNUFF BOTTLES
JINGDEZHEN KILNS, 1820-1880
The first, 1820-1880, is decorated in underglaze blue and famille rose
enamels with a continuous scene of ‘antiques’. The second, 1840-
1870, is enameled in sepia, grisaille and gilt with two crabs amidst
bamboo.

A GREEN-OVERLAY CLEAR GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
1760-1840
The bottle is carved in high relief through the translucent green
overlay suffused with thread-like inky black lines to the transparent
bubble-suffused ground with two coiled single-horned chilong.
