Stoutly potted, painted in the fifteenth century style, the interior with   Roy Davids Collection, no.43
a circle of lotus heads within a band of the Eight Buddhist Emblems,
bajixiang, around a central lotus head, the exterior with a similar scroll  Blue and white pieces such as the present lot, with the Eight Buddhist
at the rim above a continuous band of lotus heads.                          Emblems together with louts, exhibit the strong, emphatic yet
22.5cm (8 3/4in) diam.                                                      meticulous painting style associated with the Qianlong period, as well
