1994, p.135, no.98. Other similar examples in the Percival David
Foundation of Chinese Art are now in the British Museum, published
by M.Medley, Illustrated Catalogue of Ming and Ch’ing Monochromes
in the Percival Foundation of Chinese Art, London, 1973, nos.503-4
and 567 (no.567 also with a saucer).
The pair to the present cup, also formerly in the collections of Sidney
Ernest Kennedy, F.C.Harrison (by repute), Captain A.T.Warre and Mr
and Mrs George Warre, was exhibited by S.Marchant and Son, Recent
Acquisitions, 2008, no.30.
