character mark and of the period (1341-
1370)
The first vessel and cover of baluster form,
cast with panels of brocade design; the
second smaller tripod vessel of compressed
rounded form with bird form spout, the base
with a cast Zhizheng nian zhi reign mark. The 699
largest 10.7cm (4.1/4in) high. (3).

TRIPOD INCENSE BURNER, DING
Ming Dynasty and later
The ding cast with upright loop handles, the
body with panels of leiwen design; the mallet
form bottle vase cast with shaped panels of
confronting phoenix; and the larger vase with
broad flaring trumpet neck, with inlaid foliate
designs. The largest 18cm (7.1/8in) high. (3).
