Each figure powerfully modelled, standing
atop a recumbent ram, the hands held
dramatically aloft at the sides, the heads
with fierce expressions turned to the right,
wearing elaborately armoured robes and tall
plumed helmets, decorated in red, green,
black and white pigments. 45cm (17.3/4in)

PRANCING HORSE
Tang Dynasty
Modelled with the left foreleg raised, the head
lowered and turned to the left in an animated
stance, the mane swept over to the left side,
wearing trappings with bell pendants and a
saddle cloth tied and sweeping back in long
folds to each side. 40cm (15.3/4in) high.
