COCKERELS
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The cockerels are modeled in mirror
image perched on blue and green-splashed
rockwork, their breasts in iron-red and their
combs and wattles in pink shading to ruby,
while their plumage is colorfully enameled
and highlighted in gilt.
