Each of the pair of the Hehe Erxian modelled
with the smiling twin in embrace with one
holding a lotus leaf and the other a string of
cash, standing atop a pierced rockwork base,
decorated in aubergine, cream, ochre and
green glaze.
The largest 14.2cm (5 1/2in) high. (2).

A FAMILLE ROSE FIGURE OF A DAOIST
IMMORTAL
18th century
Wearing a yellow-ground armour under a
lime-green enamelled robe decorated with
a dragon, holding a book in his right hand;
together with a kneeling figure of a boy
offering a tapering rectangular cup inscribed
Long feng cheng xiang (‘The dragon and
phoenix bringing prosperity’) and with aperture
to the cup with a ribbon in the interior.
22cm (8 5/8in) and 14.5cm (5 5/8in) high. (2).
