           After Giuseppe Castiglione (Lang Shining), Late Qing Dynasty/Republic
           Period
           Ink and colour on silk, depicting a groom in blue robes with a staff,
           watching over a herd of eight horses at pasture, all amidst a landscape
           with trees, a lake and rustic European style houses in the background,
           with apocryphal seals of Lang Shining, framed.

           Giuseppe Castiglione (Chinese name: Lang Shining, 1688-1766) was   painting technqiues to China was substantial and his paintings of
