           portrayed with a benign facial expression with downcast eyes and
           pendulous ears, the hands folded and rested on the lap in dhyana   Compare a similar gilt-bronze figure of Buddha Shakyamuni, 16th/17th
           mudra, dressed in long flowing robe bordered with floral hem, loosely   century, in the Chang Foundation, illustrated in Buddhist Images in Gilt
           revealing the wan symbol on the chest. 36.8cm (14 1/2in) high  Metal, Taipei, 1993, pp.32-33, no.9.
