The rectangular seal is carved with an inscription in running 㚒᪪厍ཐⳙԋలഌ՞㟕᫈卿ᚲℱቯㅳ
script on the side with a dedicatory inscription to Shaoquan (Li
Hongzhang, 1823-1901) followed by a signature of Kunyu (He ϝᬝ
Kunyu, 1828-1896). The seal face is carved with a four-character Հࢦӽ⡕ថᇑᙻ⯠㞖ྒྷឪ㻜⛌ᇌ՞
inscription in seal script in intaglio reading, Li Hongzhang yin, ‘seal
ឪ㻜⛌ 卿ᇯभ⫐՞卿ໃཐⳙǮຽ䀕Ǯ᷉⊊卿⽚ܔऍǮ⏥ᇵ卿
of Li Hongzhang’.
