the rectangular screen with cusped corners enclosing a scene
inlaid in the centre with jade depicting a scholar gazing at a
tall floral bloom issuing from an archaistic vase, framed by
a setting deeply carved with verdant wutong and pine trees,
balustrades and ornamental rockery, the spandrels and
aprons of the stand decorated with angular scrollwork
