十八世紀 白玉雕三多紋帶扣
The Three Auspicious Fruit are the peach,
the pomegranate and the finger citron,
respectively representing long-life, fertility and
the happiness and good fortune associated
with the blessings of the Buddha. Depicting
the three fruit together was a popular way of
bestowing blessings and would have made
an object particularly well suited as a gift to a
cherished friend or patron.
