A RARE DATED AND HALL-MARKED 'PRINCE DING' CLEAR The fifth Prince Ding Zaichuan, was a great-great grandson of the
ROCK CRYSTAL BOTTLE Qianlong Emperor and rose to high official rank of his own accord

《行有恆堂製》款 appears to be added using a diamond-point to scratch the characters
into the stone. Here the character zhi (made for) is appended to the
Provenance: hall name. This type of calligraphy also occurs on a precisely dated
Zhirou Zhai Collection, Hong Kong plain white nephrite bottle, also from the Xianfeng period and may
Hugh M. Moss Ltd., 1993 represent yet another evolution in style during the mid-Qing period.
