A ‘XING’ BOX AND COVER 五代 邢窰白釉圓蓋盒
FIVE DYNASTIES
of circular form, the box fashioned with a tapered lower
body resting on a countersunk base, the gently domed cover
bordered with a thin lipped edge above subtly flaring sides,
applied with a creamy-white glaze stopping neatly in areas to
reveal the pale beige-white body
