China, Ming dynasty (1368-1644) November 2013, lot 1434. (for a single Buddhist
scroll weight of the same period and similar size)
Each cast as a recumbent Buddhist lion with its head raised, vigilantly staring at the
beholder. Their facial features, mane, backbone and bushy tail are all well detailed. (2) ᶨ⮵㖶ẋ戭䋭䳁捖
