Purchased at Jiuhuatang, Hong Kong,
1960’s

Zhang Feng was a native of Nanjing. He
lived through the turmoils of the Ming Qing
transition. Although the artist did not follow
any particular style or master, art critics
from the past considered him excelling
at landscape, figure, and bird and flower
painting.
