A GE-TYPE SMALL CUP 296
Yuan/Ming dynasty A RARE LONGQUAN CELADON BUCKET-SHAPED WATER POT,
Raised on a small circular foot, the u-shaped cup flaring to an everted MIZUSASHI
rim and covered in and out with a pale greenish-grey glaze suffused Ming dynasty (1368-1644)
with an intricate crack crackle pooling thickly at the well. Modeled in imitation of a wood-slatted bucket with slightly out-curving
1 5/8in (4.2cm) high; 3 5/16 (8.4cm) diameter upright handles with arched cross-piece, and a fitted Japanese
lacquer folding lid.
