A PAIR OF BLUE AND WHITE ‘DRAGON’ BOWLS A LARGE SET OF UNDERGLAZE-BLUE, IRON-RED AND GILT
Jiaqing seal marks and of the period DECORATED DISHES
Each hemispherical bowl finely painted to the interior in a pencil-drawn 18th century
style with two writhing five-clawed dragons circling a flaming pearl and Each decorated en-suite with floral sprays, the flattened rim with
amongst sparse clouds, raised on a short foot rim. further sprigs and scrolled bands. The largest: 23cm (9in) diam. (66).
