The portraits in the present lot are stylistically very similar to that of the  Reputedly collected in China prior to 1950, and thence by descent.
Ming Dynasty painter and philosopher Wang Yangming (1472-1529),
sold in Christie’s, Fine Chinese Paintings, 13 September 2016, New
York, lot 10.
