The deep vessel boldly painted with peony
sprays enclosed in foliate cartouches,
surrounded with a scrolling lotus meander, the
mouth rim and foot with gilt-bronze mounts,
the lid similarly decorated and with a flared
knop, with an indistinct seal script mark to
base. 22.2cm (8 3/4in) diam. (2).
