A RARE LARGE PAINTING OF THE SUMMER PALACE This historical landscape painting depicts the Garden of Nurtured
Late Qing Dynasty Harmony, better known as the Summer Palace Yihe yuan 頤和園,
Gouache on paper, the painting composed of six vertical panels of located on the north-west outskirts of Beijing. In 1749, the Qianlong
equal width depicting a bird’s eye view of the Yihe Yuan or Summer emperor commissioned the construction of these Imperial gardens on
