A JADEITE SNUFF BOTTLE
QING DYNASTY, 1770-1850
The bottle is carved with a compressed globular body rising from a flat,
oval foot to a wide mouth. The translucent stone is of variegated apple-
green and pale emerald-green tones. Together with a jadeite snuff dish.
Bottle: 18 in. (4.9 cm.) high, tourmaline stopper;
Dish: 13 in. (3.4 cm.) diam. (2)
