清 石雕觀音頭像
Provenance: a European private collection
來源:歐洲私人收藏
Stylistically, the present lot is inspired by Song
dynasty prototypes. See for example, a grey
limestone head of Avalokiteshvara, Song dynasty,
illustrated by O.Siren, Chinese Sculpture from the
Fifth to Fourteenth Century, London, 1970, pl.563C.
However, the elaborate carving of the crown would
imply a later date.
