         A VERY RARE DOUCAI TIBETAN-STYLE EWER
         QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE
         AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
         Modelled after Tibetan metal prototypes, the ewer is potted
         with a globular body with an S-shaped spout emerging from a
         dragon mask, surmounted by the neck stepped in four sections
         rising to a wide flanged mouth decorated with the Eight
         Buddhist Emblems, the body is similarly decorated with the
         Emblems borne on lotus sprays. The beaded borders in relief
         are highlighted with gilt.
